In the first half of the 18th century, Count George Olivier Von Wallis built the Mansion in all its grandeur along with numerous outbuildings, stables, grand gardens and Officer’s Courts in Pławnica.

The three-storey Mansion fell into ruin in 1815 until finally, it was sadly destroyed in 1825.

Only the Officers Court and some of the outbuildings still survive today.

In 1971, the provincial conservator of monuments took the decision to enter the site into the register of monuments, meaning that is now a place of historical value.

The Officers Court is a three-storey stone building, erected on a square like plan, covered by a mansard roof with later built dormer windows, which are visually similar in style to those of ancient Roman villas.

The façade is three-dimensional featuring a centrally located main entrance.

The building’s exterior aspects have retained their frame divisions, a prominent crowning cornice and ear framing of window openings. In two rooms on the ground floor there are barrel vaults. With further former court buildings adjoin the main building from the south and west.

While returning the building to its former glory and preserving the sites heritage, we will create six modern and luxurious apartments along with resident facilities.
